In Nagaoka, Youko and Airi have an unexpected encounter with a fighter jet, which causes them to urgently restructure their itinerary. The two head north toward Misawa Air Base in Aomori to meet the craft's pilot, but they're in no hurry--not when they've got all the sights of Yamagata, Sendai, Morioka, Akita, and the rest of the Tohoku region to see on the way!
