How dark and twisted does a story have to be to become the King of horror's only work removed from publishing?
The Bachman Books include four books written by King under his pseudonym Richard Bachman. The novel Rage was his first under the alias published in 1977. It would go on to be republished in this omnibus but never again. The story follows a disturbed young man taking his high school class hostage. Years later multiple horrific events of teens taking their classes hostage would take place in real life and Rage was cited as the source. King upon his own request had the book removed from publishing, never to be sold again
1985, first printing, in Very good condition, shows signs of handling and wear. Small outer page staining and previous stores stamp on outer pages.
